Public Lectureship - From SARS to COVID-19

We are pleased to announce that our first speaker, Professor K.Y. Yuen, for the 2021 STEM education series, co-organized with the SAR EDB, HK Academy of Sciences, and the Science Museum got off to a rousing start!

Over 480 students registered on line and over 50 students on site. Many questions were raised following the most illuminating talk by Professor Yuen, ranging from the basic public health in general, and community health in particular from the 2003 SARS to the COVID-19.

Prof Yuen encouraged students to develop a curious mind about things as a yardstick to be scientists and healthcare specialists.
